By the late 19th century the town was the largest herring port in the world and you can explore this heritage at the Time and Tide Museum.
Did you know.... It is the home to the oldest wooden football stand in Britain, and possibly the world, and is still in use. It is also famous for the Hippodrome, Britain's only surviving circus building. And we mustn't forget it also boastss the second oldest roller coaster in the country.

AVAILABILITY: There are a limited number of places available, which are allocated on a 'first come first served basis'. Our day trips are organised on the basis that a minimum number of persons will travel. If we receive insufficient bookings then we may cancel the trip in which case we will notify you 7 days before departure.
